I was shopping with my sister yesterday when I stumbled upon the cutest thing - Jet-Puffed StarMallows. I’ve never seen them before but my sister started telling me about a great dessert she's made with them.
Well, my sister had to elbow me because I wasn't listening. I was busy thinking, "We could use these to graph, to sort, to make patterns ..." (Because even during summer vacation, isn’t that still how we think?) I was actually sorry for a minute (just for a minute) that school is out and I can't use them for a new math center tomorrow. Of course, I still rushed home and made a couple of math activities to have ready for next year. Click below the picture if you’d like to download a copy. Enjoy!
You have a cute blog! :)

Very cute idea! My teacher brain is working too, wondering how I can make this a 4th grade activity...hmmm something with fractions? because those star mallows are just TOO cute! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely pass this idea along to my friends who teach K & 1.
