I've discovered so many new things this summer since I started blogging - Linky Parties, Thermal Laminators and everyone's favorite - Pinterest! Who knew? After spending weeks pinning amazing ideas that had me talking out loud to my computer, "OMG, how cute is that? I need one of those!" I decided that it was time to make some of my inspirations come to life. So, I headed out early this morning and hit Joann's, Michael's, Walmart and Lowes. Five hours and too many dollars later, I arrived back home armed with ribbon, fabric, containers, organizers and a bunch of other stuff that I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with yet.
The first project I tackled was a really cute one. Marlana over at Lil' Country Kindergarten made a set of really adorable pencil buckets for her sharpened and unsharpened pencils. I knew when I saw them that I absolutely had to have some too. I found these great little buckets that actually have pencils on them - how perfect is that? (I found them at Walmart in the celebrations section with all of the party supplies and they were only 97 cents!)
I made some cutsie labels with picture clues, printed them on cardstock and voila - Project #1 done! I love the way they came out! If you'd like a copy of the labels just click below the picture. I wonder which project I'll have fun with tomorrow?
Thanks for sharing! I've been meaning to update my pencil buckets for this coming school year! I hope I can find those adorable buckets at our walmart! L.O.V.E. them!

Thanks for posting these labels. I just bought little buckets at Target yesterday for my pencils. Now though, I want to go to Wal-Mart for the cute buckets with pencils on them!

Thank you so much for sharing the labels! I've been looking for some to add to my pails :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for making the labels for us! I had already bought the same buckets this summer and have them ready with sharpened and needing sharpened pencils in them. I just hadn't taken the time to make the labels.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping I can still find the buckets...too cute!
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks so much for these! I plan on using them, but also wanted to make versions of them with the Spanish translation, I was wondering what font you used? - Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you for saving me from trying to fix my own. It wasn't as pretty as the labels you did!
ReplyDeleteHello! When I click on the download button, it brings up a page error. Can you help with this? I would LOVE to print your labels!

I could not find the buckets either so I bought a green one and a red one. They will be cute once I put your labels on them. :) Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your creations! I just used these to make a pair of pencil "buckets," and after having two broken pencil sharpeners this year from student use, I'll be using them and a student pencil custodian. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! It's cuter than what I currently have.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing! I just gave you some blog love on my post! I'm new to blogging and would love to hear your opinion!

I love this but I wish there was a way to change it to Spanish. What software or program do you use? Respond to daysimtz@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Love these! Found it on Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! What kind of adhesive did you use to glue the labels to the pails?
ReplyDeleteExactly what I was needing!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these labels! Thank you so much for sharing them! I am trying out a "Lost Materials" bucket in my kindergarten classroom this year along with the "Sharpen Please" and "Ready to Write" buckets. I was wondering if you would be willing to create a matching label for me? I love your format, so it would be wonderful if all three buckets match! My email address is listed below. Thanks again!
